Last week we got the Islander on the water for a sea trial. It went really well! Just a few adjustments needed.

1958 Chris Craft Continental

Shane has put a ton of work into this boat the last few weeks. The fuel tank, throttle, shifter, and exhaust hoses are installed, the ceiling boards are in and the floor panels are covered, and the dash is pretty much finished. He's installed the rub rails and worked on polishing chrome parts.

Sportsman

Caity's put a lot of time into these hundred of bungs on the deck of the Sportsman!

Budsin

Gary's been working on the varnish on this boat.

Super Sport

The bottom of the Super Sport is faired and ready for varnish. It looks absolutely incredible.

Custom Runabout

Jack installed additional supports for motor mounts along the stringers on this boat and got the engine mounted.

1947 Deluxe

Jack put the final coat of varnish on this boat this week in our clean room.

Beaufort Boat Show and Best in Show!

This gorgeous Chris Craft Continental that we restored won Best in Show at the Beaufort Boat Show last weekend! Congratulations, Eric!

Gary looks like a proper sea captain in his yellow slicker checking out this huge boat at the boat show!

The guys got this boat in the water for a preliminary sea trial this week! They found some adjustments that will need to be made, of course, but it was a good first float!

Super Sport

Gary and Shane installed new transom planks and the final side plank this week!

Sportsman

Thanks to Caity's hard work, the deck is completely dry fitted and installed.

Concordia Sloop

Shane has been working on the bilge pump for the Sloop this week.

Budsin

Lots more paint on the Budsin this week.

Custom Runabout

Jack's been working on the engine for the Runabout this week.

This week the Islander got some interior windshield trim, deck hardware, a brass stem band, a fuel tank, and lifting eyes. And then it got loaded up on its trailer! Hoping for some testing and maybe a sea trial this week.

Super Sport

Gary pitched in this week to work on the hundreds and hundreds of bungs!

Budsin

This little electric boat is getting a quick off-season refresh. The guys flipped it, washed it down, and sanded and repainted the sides.

Caity has been hard at work dry fitting deck pieces.

1947 Deluxe

Halfway through coats of varnish, each boat gets a major sand! That means one step closer to being back on the water.

This week the Islander got a final coat of varnish on the deck and the windshield and deck hardware were installed!

1958 Chris Craft Continental

The guys diagnosed and repaired some more rusted parts on this engine this week and got it running smoothly. It's ready to be reinstalled.

Shane has been working on installing the freshly restore instruments on this gorgeous dash panel.

Sportsman

The guys milled some fresh wood for the transom and installed it this week.

Shane installed the rudder and steering linkage and is preparing to install the fuel tank.

The guys have been dry fitting the new engine and poling platform.

Gary has been wiring electronic components into this helm station.

Gary has been working to build up coats of varnish on these trim pieces.

1947 Deluxe

Jack just finished up a little repair on the deck.

He made and fitted new spray rails.

After installing all the bungs, Jack and Caity have been working on sanding the engine hatch.

Jack and Caity have been working so hard on this boat! They disassembled the engine hatch, made some repairs, and painted it. This morning they've been sanding the deck. It looks absolutely incredible!

This project is a bit of a departure for us! It's a wooden truck! This photo is what it's going to look like when it's all done.

Gary has been building up the coats of varnish on these trim pieces.

1964 Century Resorter

Shane has finished up the patch on the bottom of this boat and he's sanding it in preparation for repainting the bottom.

Bungs, bungs, and more bungs! Caity and Jack installed the deck, scraped and heat gunned it, and this week they have been working so hard to glue these little guys in and then chisel the tops off.

1960 Owens Flagship Cruiser

This boat is on its way to a new home!

Super Sport

Shane has been fitting new planks along the sides of the Super Sport.

1964 Century Resorter

Shane got the patch in place and he's working on heat gunning and scraping the paint off the bottom of this boat.

This is a cool and pretty unique project! A 1947 Woodie truck! We're doing some restoration work on some of the panels. Here's Gary getting started.

1964 Century Resorter

The guys lifted this boat and got to work repairing a hole in the bottom. Shane cut out a manageable section and they started working on layering in fresh plywood panels to complete a patch and seal.

1947 Deluxe

Jack put a lot of hours in on the Deluxe this week. Look how gorgeous the hull looks!

Lyman Islander

We've put so much work into this beautiful boat. Jack and Caity put the (hopefully) final coat of varnish on the deck last week. Jack sourced and installed some authentic hardware for this compartment door. And they shaped and installed the rub rails and splash rails. It's looking so good!

1958 Continental

Jack replaced the exhaust manifolds for this engine.

Super Sport

Shane continues to rebuild the hull of this boat, replacing rotten pieces as he goes.

1947 Deluxe

Jack and Caity have been working hard to replace some rotten frames and decking. It's coming along so well!

Shane made a custom oak wedge and permanently installed the strut for the Continental this week. He also made new spray rails and stained and sealed them.

1949 Chris Craft Deluxe

The oil pump on this engine failed during the last sea trial. When Jack opened it up, he found this piece had come loose. He made the repairs, tested it, and successfully reinstalled the engine. He also installed a new water intake valve and winterized everything. Finally, the owner requested a self-contained, automatic fire extinguisher system be installed in the engine compartment. so Jack got that all set up. Everything looks great!

1932 ElectriCraft

This gorgeous little electric boat got a second coat of varnish this week.

1947 Chris Craft Deluxe

Jack and Caity have been removing deck boards to get to some rotten frames that need to be replaced.
