Concordia SloopShane has been working hard on the paint and details on this gorgeous sailboat. The owner plans to change some colors around, but it looks beautiful, no matter what. Lyman IslanderJack has been working on the steering, the floor, the interior paint, and the fresh varnish on the rear seat this week. He also installed the prop. 1958 ContinentalNon-skid flooring on the floorboards of this boat. Everything looks nice and crisp! Deluxe RunaboutThe guys have been working hard on getting this engine up and running. They took it to the machine shop to get the engine head resurfaced and installed new gaskets. Jack also built and installed the batter switch. PuntGary is putting the final coat of anti-fouling paint on the bottom of this boat. Anti-fouling paint keeps gross organic build-up from forming on the bottom of the boat.

It's been a busy week here at the shop. Gary has been out doing some surveys and we said goodbye to Zach the intern. Sea Trials!The crew took a couple of boats out for sea trials yesterday. The 1957 Continental did great and just needs a few adjustments. The U-18 is definitely improving but still needs some attention. 1957 ContinentalIn addition to a very promising sea trial, the interior is cleaned up and put back together. Next week we hope to get this boat back out on the water to adjust the transmission. PuntWe are working hard to get this boat back up to Roaring Gap as soon as we can. The bottom is finished and the edges have been sealed with fiberglass tape.
Christ Craft U-18The guys reinstalled the engine in this boat and Jack did some custom adjustments on the brand new trailer. 1957 Chris Craft ContinentalJack installed the rub rails, the windshield, and a custom piece of trim that sits behind the back seats. 1958 Chris Craft ContinentalShane has had this boat in the clean room all week working on those gorgeous white lines. PuntZach has joined us from Greensboro Day School to complete his senior internship. He's been working on several projects, but here he is sanding a joint in the plywood bottom of this punt. Concordia SloopShane has been working on the lines and varnish on the deck of this boat. Lyman IslanderJack built this replacement rudder brace completely from scratch. 1947 Chris Craft Deluxe RunaboutCaity has joined us to work in the shop a couple of days a week. Here she is countersinking the many, many bungs that protect the screws on the bottom of this boat.
