We want to thank everyone from the local chapters of the Antique & Classic Boat Society who came to the seminar this weekend in Greensboro. It was nice to see old friends and new faces. Thank you to our Pettit rep who came and spoke with us about their latest products.
Just a typical day, hard at work with Gary overseeing every detail!! Nicolas will be replacing the transom, outboard engine box and bottom aft section.
Shane finished the custom made metal dash panel and will finish connecting the electrical wiring to the dash controls. He's also reinstalling the freshly chromed deck hardware.
26' Sea Skiff
Gary delivered the Sea Skiff to the upholsterers in Raleigh. They will custom make all the seat cushions and a Bimini.
Auto Tops and Interiors
Budsin Lightning Bugs
Shane is dry-fitting all rub rails for the Lightning Bugs, and put a sealer coat on boat 1. I've started sanding the decks for 2 & 3, and all three hatches, and prepping them to begin their varnish schedules next week. I've also started the varnish schedule for the interior pieces of boat 3.
Jack has begun to build up coats of varnish on the hull and interior pieces of the Ski Boat.
Shane prepped and varnished the rubrails.
Chris Craft Holiday
Jack has finished all the wiring for the Holiday and is reinstalling all the deck hardware. It's starting to look like a real boat now!
Check back weekly for updates about our current projects and shop happenings!
