Nicolas replaced part of the stem on the bow and then reshapes it with a hand planer. He dry fit both outer chines, also shaped with a hand plane, and installed them with the mahogany 5200.

1960 Bristol
We turned the Bristol over to start work on the bottom. Jack is separating the bottom and sides from the aft chines sections in order to gain better access and assess the damage further.

19ft Lyman
Meghan carefully matched the keelson angle to the keel. Check out the old pieces next to the new ones! She scraped and cleaned off the rest of the gunky stuff along the bottom ribs, and dry-fit the starboard side cheek board to mark it for hand-planing.
