Carolina Skiff Shane started prepping and laying out the mahogany deck planks. Then we slather on some 5200 and use the screw and washer method; the washers act as clamps so we don't have to drill and bung any holes in the deck planks. We're very pleased with the look of it. We've finished making the hatches for the rear deck and next Shane will work on the layout for those planks. 1950 Chris Craft Riviera New Boat alert! We just got this Riviera in and we can't wait to get started on it. It looks pretty rough and will likely need a full restoration. First, we made Gary empty the fuel tank, which still had decades old fuel in it. After that I removed the interior so we could get a closer look at the structure. Next, we moved it outside to wash and degrease the bilge. Then I disconnected the engine and got it ready for removal. 26ft Sea Skiff Another sea trial in the books! We took the Sea Skiff for another spin after making adjustments since last time. Penn Yan
Another new boat alert! We'll be starting this project pretty soon as well. More to come!
