All emails & calls will be answered within 24 hours. Your regularly scheduled blog update is posted below. U18 The U18 is looking great! It is almost ready to stain and seal. Stay tuned for its upcoming finale. CC Riviera Shane is currently waiting to do the final coat of varnish on the Riviera. Next is reinstalling hardware and running gear! 56 Continental Jack has been working on the final details & touch ups for the 56. He's working on the engine, he has replaced the ignition, and applied a new coat of paint on the bottom. Look below to see him removing the tape line, how satisfying! 58 Continental Jack is starting to fit the repaired bottom planks over the new plywood bottom of the 58. Lookin good! CC Celebrity The new plywood subdeck has been fitted and installed on the Celebrity. The crew has begun installing dynel over the top of the plywood sub deck, Look at them go! Whirlwind Shane has put the keel on the Whirlwind and has made sure the stingers are all bolted down. Now Shane is prepping to paint. How exciting. Carolina FLATS Skiff After removing the plywood deck, fuel tank, engine & loose wiring the crew rolled the boat to begin work on the bottom. Meghan is currently sanding the paint off the bottom. 1992 Hackercraft The crew has removed all the damaged boards and replaced them in the engine compartment. Jack has also cleaned, sanded, and painted the engine compartment with bilge paint. He has also installed a new fuel sender in the fuel tank, installed a new depth sounder gauge and transducer. But wait that's not it, he has also installed a new fire extinguisher gauge system, new fuel filter & fuel shut off valve. Lastly he has pressure tested the exhaust pipe for leaks.
