58 Continental We have got a new 58 Continental in the shop, and it has already done a full flip! (literally). Jack has removed all deck hardware including seats, floorboards, engine, electrical and has been cleaned out! We found lots of little teeth marks throughout the boat. Some little critter likes oily mahogany. The crew flipped the boat and removed the bottom & transom as well as gripe. It's gotten a coat of penetrating epoxy. Next Jack will mill White Oak to replace the damaged frames. Stay tuned to watch this boat get its full restoration! U-18 This boat is moving on up! Jack has installed the transom and completed repairs on existing forward sections of outer chine pieces. It is ready to install the outer chine. The crew holes on the bottom are filled and the bottom has gotten its first coat of primer! CC Riviera Shane is working hard on this boat! He has been working on removing seams & sanding the deck. He's also restraining and revarnishing. Looking good Shane! Cruising Sailboat Meghan is working on this boat. She has been wiring up the bow & stern light as well as the control panel! Ski Boat The Ski boat looks great! Shane has installed existing pipes, laminate on the floor, installed flooring and seats. The windshield is put back together and mounted in. Next up is upholstering the engine box, wiring the instrument panel and once we get the gauges from restoration company, we can test run the engine! CC Deluxe Runabout - "Barrelback" This boat has gotten its final coat of varnish on the deck as well as repainted white deck lines thanks to Gary! Next up is the reassembly including the deck hardware. Check out these before and after of the deck lines! Way to go Gary. Whirlwind The whirlwind has had its spray rails, its engine motor removed. Meghan is patching the port aft hole and cutting veneers to fit. Looking good! Clay's Boat
We have completed the rebuilding of the transom and the dead wood. Next is to install the drive shaft. It sure is looking great!
