This week, we steam bent the frame for the International 12 --see our video in the previous post! On the Grand Craft, we installed running gear and prepped for motor installation. It's also gotten another nice sanding and layer of varnish. Gary got the Double Ender up and running! Which is exciting news, as that boat is very close to completion. In fact, the lettering specialists are out in the shop as I type. Hello Sea Saw! The Barrel Back, the Utility, and the 18' Sea Skiff have enjoyed a nice wet sanding. And the Utility has been buffed and given some beautiful white stripes as well. In the photo below, the left side has been buffed and the right has just been wet sanded. The left side feels like the hood of a car, while the right side feels like perfectly smooth freshly waxed floors. It's pretty amazing what a little rubbing can do. The Ski Boat is wearing some lovely new hardware. The spray rails have been dry fit and Jack's working on retrofitting the trim for the new windshield. And that's it for this week. Stay tuned!
